  1. Don't ever refuse food from a grandmother.

    Her wisdom and love is found in every bite.

    There isn't enough time in a day for one. Dr. King said, “Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

  3. Don’t be reduced to an emoji.

    Find the courage to put the phone down and go hug them instead. Our society is missing direct eye contact.

  4. Get some rest.

    Sometimes your best work will be clocking out, because it's about the quality of your time spent, not the hours. After all, the work will be there tomorrow waiting for you.

  5. Take time to take a child fishing.

    Your time is precious. It’s one of the best gifts you can give to your children.
